The Wyoming Community Centre is an incorporated Public Benevolent Institution that commenced operation in October, 1990 and was officially opened on 6 December, 1991. The building was constructed with funds from Gosford City Council and the Department of Housing, on land donated by Gosford City Council. Extensions to the Centre were carried out by Gosford City Council in late 2000 to cater for the ever growing needs of the local community.
The Wyoming Community Centre manages various projects including the Wyoming Community Development Project, Outside School Hours Care, and various other projects.
The day to day operations of the Centre are conducted by the Manager, Joan Jones, a Justice of the Peace who is available by appointment. The Manager’s position is partially funded by the Department of Community Services.
Rooms at the Centre can be hired by the community at affordable rates for meetings, functions, classes, etc. Please note the Centre is an alcohol free venue. For more information go to Room Hire.
