How the Centre is Managed
The Centre is run by a voluntary management committee which is made up of local residents and people who are interested in the centre. Current committee members are:

The day to day operations of the centre are conducted by the Manager, Joan Jones. This position is partially funded by the Dept. of Community Services.
Aims of the Association
The Association is a non-profit, welfare and benevolent organisation whose main object is to provide assistance to the socially and economically disadvantaged of our community e.g. children, families, physically impaired, people of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Island and non-English speaking backgrounds.
Objects of the association
- To research and identify the social & welfare needs of the local community and develop networks, programs and services to address those identified issues and needs.
- To provide social welfare assistance and poverty relief through education, information, support groups, counselling, casework, referrals, advocacy and emergency relief.
- To assist disadvantaged members of our community to obtain housing, employment, income support, education, health and other services necessary to participate equally in society.
- To advance the human and civil rights of the disadvantaged in our community and foster an increase in social Capital.
- To provide a community centre which encourages access to its facilities, its management and programs by disadvantaged people.
