Central Coast Multicultural Project
The Central Coast Multicultural Project is conducted to assist people on the Central Coast who are from non-english speaking backgrounds (NESB). This includes new arrivals, refugees and migrants. For more information click on History or Achievements of the Project.
Managed by the Wyoming Community Centre the Project provides information, referrals, support, advocacy, community development and casework and is funded by the Department of Community Services and the Department of Immigration and Citizenship and is managed by the Wyoming Community Centre. The two workers are Pari Batha and Danielle Habib and they can be contacted Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.00pm on 4323.7483.
Mission Statement: The Central Coast Multicultural Project is based at Wyoming Community Centre. The Project is an acknowledgement of the diverse cultures living on the Central Coast of NSW and the contributions and benefits derived from the sharing of these cultures within the whole community.

Aims of the Project:
- To research the needs of people from NESB’s on the Central Coast and develop programs and activities to meet these needs.
- To work with mainstream organisations and services to increase their sensitivity to the needs of NESB clients on the Central Coast.
- To raise awareness of issues affecting the NESB community on the Central Coast and to advocate on their behalf.
- To provide information and support to NESB people in order to improve their access to existing services.
