Central Coast Neighbourhood & Community Centres' Forum

The 300 Neighbourhood and Community Centres in NSW now provide a wide range of services. These services depend on local community needs and the resources available. The services include the full range from crisis and support services, through to group activities, needs analysis, advocacy, policy or resource development and community education. Centres offer these services within a long term, developmental framework.

Central Coast Community Council

The Central Coast Community Council (CCCC) is the peak body for non-government service sector located in the Central Coast and is regional link with New South Wales Council of Social Services (NCOSS).

Gosford City Council

Gosford City Council aims to provide, or assist in the provision of, quality services and facilities to meet the social, community and cultural needs of the Gosford community. The Community Development Section supports and assists numerous community groups and organisations throughout the City to provide a range of programs and activities. The Section also liaises and cooperates with other levels of government regarding various services and funding programs.

The Community Services Section is part of Wyong Council’s Corporate and Community Services Department. The role of the Community Services Section is to undertake community development activities and projects which will support local residents to build community cohesion and promote community well being.

We provide child protection services, parenting support and early intervention, foster care, adoption services and help for communities affected by disaster.

Peninsula Community Centre

The Peninsula Community Centre Inc is a registered charity (CC 19624) that operates 15 individual funded programs, & numerous unfunded programs across a broad spectrum of community welfare need, from small children’s services through to programs that assist the aged & disabled.

LCSA - Local Community Services Association

LCSA is the peak body for 300 NSW neighbourhood and community centres. We provide information, resources and support on community development and community management and represent members' views to policy and decision makers. LCSA is run by a committee comprised of neighbourhood and community centre representatives. Neighbourhood and Community Centres formed the Local Community Services Association (LCSA) in 1974. They asked LCSA to resource and support them. They wanted LCSA to represent them with policy and decision making bodies. We continue to represent and advocate for the interests of our members and provide a voice to decision makers. We continue to resource and support our members to develop as community development organisations.

Wyoming North Gosford Residents Association

To act on behalf of the people in Wyoming, North Gosford, lobbying Council, government department and other services to voice the feelings and issues raised by people in the area in an effort to make positive changes and improvement across our suburbs. The group meets at Wyoming Community Centre on the first Wednesday of each month from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are always welcome.
